About Me

DOWNLOAD MY RESUME

As the daughter of an architect, I was destined to be a designer. However, during moments along the way I discovered that I enjoy a lot of other things as well and am on a quest to figure out how to fit them all together into one lifetime.

My main gig is visual and UX design and am excited to be freelancing while I also work with my partner on his growing general contracting and custom carpentry business.

WHY I LOVE DESIGN
I realized early on that I wanted to fix things that were broken, to make things easier for people, and to ultimately, improve lives. Whether it be through an analog style exhibit space, a story told on stage, or data visualizations created to help institutions make their colleges more equitable, I believe design has the power to change the world.

YOGA & MEDITATION
More recently I discovered the healing powers of yoga and meditation. I completed my 200 hour yoga teaching certificate and have become an avid meditator. I haven’t taught yet, but am driven by the vision of helping others feel a mind, body, breath connection.

EVERYTHING ELSE
I have designed and built a house (with an excellent contractor I know, wink wink), wrangled and attempted to train two dogs, went crabbing on kayaks, toured 900 year old temples in Cambodia, dabbled in pottery, screen printing, wood turning, and sewing, and helped manage the production of a coffee table that looks like a giant cassette (just ask and I will send you a link). What’s next? I’m in!
